Michelle McKenzie-Lander

Vice Chair of Planning, Diversity

A student in the Faculty of Arts Program at Lakehead University majoring in Psychology, Michelle McKenzie-Lander has had extensive experience in multicultural activities and issues. From 2002 to 2005, she served as the Artistic Director and Coordinator of the Thunder Bay Folklore Festival and has been the President of the Caribbean African Multicultural Association since 1999.

She has also worked as an Immigration Officer Assistant for Citizenship and Immigration Canada and in an activity coordinating capacity for both the Thunder Bay Fringe Festival and the Regional Multicultural Youth Council. Michelle also volunteers for many local Non-Profits Association. Thunder Bay has been her home for the past 17 years. Michelle is also Vice Chair of the Planning Committee.
