Hands-On Zone

The Hands On Zone is a designated area of the Career Fair dedicated to providing "hands on" opportunities for students and the general public to get a feel for a particular skill or activity within a career. This year's Hands On Zone is once again jam-packed with exciting activities.

FRIDAY

9:30-10:30 - Dept. of Computer Science from Lakehead University - "Creating a Robot Maze"

10:45-11:45 - Broadcasting Department from Confederation College - "Broadcasting 101"

11:45-12:30 - Faculty of Engineering from Lakehead University - "Robot Challenge"

12:30-4:00 - Sheet Metal Workers - Creating copper whistles!

SATURDAY

11:15-12:15 - Faculty of Engineering from Lakehead University - "Student Steel Bridge Demonstration"

12:30-1:30 - Broadcasting Department from Confederation College - "Broadcasting 101"

1:45-2:45 - Photography Lessons from Ilo Photo

3:00-4:00 - Faculty of Natural Resource Management from Lakehead University - "Learning to read trees"
