Why participate?

The Northwest Connector Program supports you to build a professional network within your sector to gain more information from different professional perspectives. By building a professional network, you make new contacts and become informed. This will help you build a successful career in Northwestern Ontario.

The success of Northwest Connector Program comes from your willingness to establish new relationships and maintain contacts with other professionals and business leaders. It gives you the chance to engineer your own success.

Who can participate?

Northwest Connector Program is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Have not already participated in the Connector Program 
• Must be eligible to work in Canada  
• Must be physically present in Northwestern Ontario 
• Sufficient English (or French) language skills related to profession  
• Must be unemployed or underemployed 
• If you are currently a student, you must be graduating within 6 months from a postsecondary institution or graduated with a post-secondary degree or diploma

Connectees are advised that the Northwest Connector Program is not a job search program. It is simply a tool to assist you in growing your professional network and enhance your job search strategy.  You should not expect an offer of employment as a result of the informational interviews with the Connectors.
