Talent Retention Roundtable

The Talent Retention Roundtable was created to build community connections with post-secondary students and recent alumni with the goal of exposing students to the opportunities that are here for them after graduation. The purpose of the Roundtable for Talent Retention is to further and strengthen efforts to retain graduating post-secondary students in the city of Thunder Bay and region of Northwestern Ontario through creating a welcoming culture and making connections for post-secondary students in the community. The roundtable meets on a quarterly basis to discuss current and new initiatives and projects, share data and research on the topic, and updates from the steering committee on project work.

The Talent Retention Roundtable steering committee consists of 8 members of the Talent Roundtable who help guide and support the efforts of the Roundtable by documenting the process, planning meetings, supporting project ideas and initiatives and overall execution of the Roundtable.

NSWPB has hired a Research Intern who will be assisting the steering committee with survey distribution and collection and migration of student and employer data. With this information, the Talent Retention steering committee will be better positioned to provide projects and initiatives that will help retain talent within Thunder Bay and the region.
