WorkSCAPE Northwest's Job Portal helps job seekers discover career pathways and find job openings. The portal offers helpful features such as resume builders, job alerts, and career resources to assist in the job seeker's journey. It also allows employers to track activity on their posted jobs and compare their company's activity level to others in their sector.

Resume Builder

WorkSCAPE Northwest’s Resume Builder tool helps job seekers create a professional and well-formatted resume, a crucial step in achieving their dream job. With a selection of templates and design options, as well as the ability to input their own information, this tool generates a finished resume that can be downloaded or printed.

Job Board

This aggregator tool scrapes 37 local, regional, provincial, and national job banks every hour and places them in one spot for jobseekers.

Census Tool

This tool facilitates the geographical exploration of census data. You can compare various demographic metrics between regions in absolute terms or relative to other regions. You can also view aggregated data for selected regions.

Career Explorer

This tool shows the pathways between different jobs and provides information on typical duties, the skills and education required, as well as whether the job is in-demand locally, and what people tend to earn in each profession.

Jobs Map

This tool takes the postings from 37 job banks and shows where they are on an interactive map in relation to other important resources like daycare, transit, schools, housing, and more.

Talent Map

This tool shows which regions of Canada, the US, and five other countries have the highest concentration of workers in a specific field.

Sector Map

This tool provides information on employers in individual industries and which companies hire for specific job types. Users can view an interactive map of where companies in certain sectors are located or see where jobs are concentrated via a heatmap.

Occupation Library

Learn more about different occupations, including regional demand and salary expectations. You can explore different occupations, browse current and historical occupations that are in demand in the region.
