Skills Ontario and the North Superior Workforce Planning Board are co-hosting a web event to learn and discuss exciting initiatives in Northwestern Ontario in the mining sector.

Register here and join us for this informative online session. This webinar will include information on the Mining Readiness Strategy Project, a guiding framework for the City of Thunder Bay to support the growing Northwestern Ontario mining sector. You will also hear from Musselwhite Mine and the importance of ensuring Indigenous participation is in their workforce.

Our panel of speakers will include: John Mason from the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission and Bronson Keough from Musselwhite Mine.

The North Superior Workforce Planning Board will discuss recent research and reports completed about the Mining sector and Skills Ontario will highlight some upcoming events that are keeping younger people engaged.
