Railway Car Technician

Railway car technicians keep trains chugging along. They repair and rebuild mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic components of railway passenger and freight cars. They are also responsible for the interiors of cars and windows. Railway car technicians must be able to work from blueprints and should expect some climbing or heavy lifting. They work with hand tools, power tools, and hoisting equipment.
