Changing the Dialogue: Indigenous Cultural Awareness Training Program

Facilitated by Blue Sky Community Healing Centre
Held March 5th & 6th, 2019 at Lakehead University Faculty Lounge
Through local Indigenous facilitators and the medicine wheel, a training program focused on Indigenous culture, history, treaties, contemporary issues of concern and Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action was delivered to Service Providers in the Thunder Bay district. They came together to gain a better understanding of the challenges that local Indigenous people face and to learn how to engage with Indigenous clients and to assist them in achieving their training and employment goals.
